Tuesday Musings: The Notebook
The Designer's Kit
It is a fine day in Melbourne and the faintest breath of Spring was seen earlier today in a sunbeam, or so it was reported to me at my desk. We are getting back to the warm weather, slowly, and as such my heart turns to...notebooks. Big and small.
I am obsessed.
Baumgart Clark printed our own notebooks recently, designed by our friend Bernita at Graphicmill, and we now go to our busy meetings with our branding in prominent display, but I personally just can't go past the website Notemaker.com.au (soon to become Milligram.com), where I have spent so much money I should own shares in the business. Seriously, I passed my hundredth order recently. Fortunately the nice boys and girls at Notemaker reward loyalty royally, so I get a lifetime discount and the occasional freebie thrown in just for giggles.
Above is an image of some of their newest goodies, the new notebooks some of which they have designed with Melbourne creative clever person Beci Orpin. The new notebooks are the product of the Notemaker/Telegram offshoot Milligram Studio. A whole new range to covet and to buy and to have and to hold! And to write in and sketch in! Oh joy. Check out Milligram Studio notebooks on their website, and do me a favour and say when you succumb to temptation that Marcus Baumgart sent you.
